Carli Watterson: Good question;rhythm functions and music and poetry.Because the rhythm is actually in you,when your in the spirit of just feeling the rhythm the rhythm then becomes an external feeling and u start reacting to it as a result.So rhythm is in the soul and when u write poetry or music u go along with the rhythm because u feel it,hope I could help
