Grammar/correct punctuation question? Use of quotation marks?

Krystal Cordovano: yes, this is correct. the reason that no end quotation marks are used at the end of the first paragraph is because the same speaker is continuing to speak in the next paragraph. if there were end quotation marks there, you would think there was a different speaker talking. also, if you had no beginning quotatio! n marks, you could be confused if the dialogue is continuing
