know anything about study abroad?

Nancy Mansell: If you are in college ... then ask your counseling department. There should be programs available.If you are in high school, I would be very careful looking at a study abroad company. They have no control over the school curriculum, and many of these companies (they call themselves programs) are notorious for bending the truth about placements and expectations.These companies exist to collect your money. Dexter Dicostanzo: I had a friend who did a study abroad focusing on global health in India, South America & New Zealand. Unfortunately I don't know the organization, but it definitely exists if you care to search for it.I would start by deciding what country to go to - if you only speak English, that will limit your choices substantially. Then look at the possible school choices in that country and what classes they offer. Do you want to study with native students, or do you want to be in a program with all Americans? Choose something that you think will interest you as well as be a little challenging....Show more
